On Parenting & Growth
"I'm not raising my children to be dependent on me forever; I'm raising them to know they can always come to me for support. There's a significant difference!"
"As a parent you can do your best to raise and guide your child based on your current knowledge and skills. However, once a child reaches a certain age, you cannot control their choices and actions. Therefore, it's not that the child was not taught; rather, the child who refuses to learn will inevitably be taught by the world."
— Latifat Abisola Olagoke, on African proverbs and modern parenting
Timi Ogunjimi

"I'm an artist originally from Nigeria but raised in Ireland. I've been shaped by the underground — the soil where I believe the purest form of hip hop is born. That's where I learned to respect the pen."
From the raw discipline of Wu-Tang Clan to the spiritual depth of Killah Priest, the precision of Nas, the intellect of Black Thought, and the abstract genius of MF DOOM — that's where Timi honed his craft.
